Slow travel and enjoy - Guesthouse Milli Vina

Slow Travel in the west of Iceland and enjoy it.
We think that it is very important to enjoy your travel as much as possible so we suggest that you just slow down in West Iceland. Stay 2 or 3 nights instead of 1 at your accommodation, enjoy a hot tub or a nice walk or just take a walk in the beatiful nature in West Iceland.

Enjoying the moment is absorbing. Enjoyment is accomplished by relaxing into the moment. You can't fast forward nature. You can't stop or freeze frame moments you enjoy. While in nature you're included, you became part of it all. In order to enjoy the moment you actually have to appreciate it. To appreciate the moment you have to quiet down and silently go within yourself. Nature cannot be beautiful unless you appreciate it. Beauty in any form requires appreciation in order to be beautiful, and appreciation is a quality found within you.. this is so true - have it as a mental guidance on your travel around West Iceland.(ENJOY THE MOMENT! From there drive to Reykholt, where the Icelandic statesman and poet Snorri Sturluson lived in the 13th century. In the inner regions of Borgarfjördur we'll see one of the most enchanting sights that Iceland has to offer, Hraunfossar - the Lava Waterfalls. These small waterfalls appear from under a lava field and fall over a stretch of about 200 m into the canyon of the glacial river Hvita. Then you can drive to Bifröst and on that way you must stop and visit Paradísarlaut and the waterfall Glanni wich is in Norðurá a little below Bifröst. A convenient walking path leads to Glanni, surrounded by beautiful landscape. Paradísarlaut - the Hollow of Paradise - is a beautiful oasis in the lava on the banks of Norðurá, not far below the waterfall Glanni. An easy walking paths leads to the hollow. From there you can drive to Grábrók. Grábrók is in Norðurárdalur and is the largest of three craters on a short volcanic fissure. If you are still in the mood you can drive op to the cave Surtshellir and take a look at its beauty. There is still time for relaxing, enjoy a good meal you can order by the hotelier. After that you can enjoy the icelandic light night in the hot spring water in our "hotpot".
